Tools & Support - Acceptable use policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets
forth the principles that govern the use by customers of the systems,
services and products provided by OTZ Telecommunications, INC.
The AUP has been created to promote the integrity, security, reliability
and privacy of OTZ Telecommunications, INC. systems and networks.
OTZ Telecommunications, INC. retains the right to
modify the AUP at any time and any such modification shall be
automatically effective as to all customers when adopted by OTZ
Telecommunications, INC.
OTZ Telecommunications, INC. services may only be
used for lawful purposes. Transmission of any material in violation
of any US or state regulation is prohibited. This includes, but
is not limited to, copyrighted material, threatening or obscene
material or material protected by trade secret. You agree to indemnify
and hold harmless OTZ Telecommunications, INC. from any claims
resulting from your use of this service, which damages you or
another party. At our discretion, we may revoke your access for
inappropriate usage.
System abuse is strictly prohibited. OTZ Telecommunications,
INC. may terminate or modify service immediately and may bill
for any resulting support charges if the client engages in system
abuse. Examples of system abuse include, but are not limited to:
attempting to circumvent security protocols, sending large numbers
of unsolicited mail messages (spam), and attempting to interfere
with or deny service to any user or host on the Internet.
Multiple simultaneous logins are PROHIBITED
for single user accounts. OTZ Telecommunications, INC.
reserves the right to restrict or deny access for abuse of this
usage policy.
At its sole discretion, OTZ Telecommunications,
INC. reserves the right to remove materials from its servers and
to terminate internet access to customers that OTZ Telecommunications,
INC. determines have violated this AUP.
OTZ Telecommunications, INC. is not responsible
for the content of any USENET posting, whether or not a customer
of the Company made the posting.
Unlimited Access means active usage by you
the user, typing and clicking away at the keyboard, actively surfing
the web.
It does NOT mean:
· Pinging the connection
· Leaving the connection up to check e-mail
all day/night
· Running a DNS, ftp, web, email, warez,
or P2P server.
· Leaving the connection open all of the
time i.e. autodialers.
If you would like to have a dedicated, or full-time
connection contact OTZ Telecommunications, INC.
If we do not receive your payment when due, your
account may be terminated. Termination of your account does not
remove your responsibility under this agreement to pay all fees
incurred up to the date of termination. These include but are
not limited to, collection and attorneys' fees incurred by OTZ
Telecommunications, INC. Jurisdiction of this agreement is the
State of Alaska.
You understand and accept these Terms and
Conditions and agree to pay for these services according to the
current Billing Policies.
