This program works by timing how long it takes your internet connection to receive a large data file  from an OTZ.net server.

OTHER SPEED TEST SITES

To run this test again hold CTRL and refresh the page.

Line speed = The actual allowed traffic speed between the local residents and OTZ Telephone's central office.

Connection Speed = The measurement of data that passes "from and to" the residents computer through our central office servers at a particular point in time. (Depends on your computers setup and internet line speed)

Download Speed = what you normally see when you are downloading from the internet and varies depending on the servers traffic you are downloading files. This test is beyond OTZ and will most likely reflect slower speeds because of satellite latency.

Network Speed = Measured in Mega Bytes, this speed reflects your local or internal network connection or LAN response times. Most LAN's these days are either 10/100 or 1000MB.
