Line speed = The actual allowed traffic
speed between the local residents and OTZ Telephone's central
office.
Connection Speed = The measurement of data
that passes "from and to" the residents computer through our
central office servers at
a particular point in time. (Depends on your computers setup and internet
line speed)
Download Speed = what you normally see when you
are downloading from the internet and varies depending on the
servers traffic you are downloading files. This test is beyond
OTZ and will most likely reflect slower speeds because of
satellite latency.
Network Speed = Measured in Mega Bytes,
this speed reflects your local or internal network connection or LAN
response times. Most LAN's these days are either 10/100 or
1000MB.
